Jan Reynolds is a writer and photographer that just can’t get far enough away from it all! Her favorite things are to escape to an extreme environment, and hang with the locals to learn about their culture, and their point of view. And, if she gets a chance to ski and climb while she’s at it, she’s really happy!
She’s written 14 books for children, including the Vanishing Cultures series, which have been recognized by the Parent’s Choice Award, CBC Notable Children’s Books in Social Studies and American Book Sellers “Pick of the List.” She is the author of two books for adults: Everest Grand Circle and Mother and Child.
